Journal Entry: Name 1 advantage and one disadvantage to living in Sparta.  Name one advantage and one disadvantage to living in Athens.
Current Event: Click here and write down as many Olympic sports as you see in the video.

We completed the backside of our Athens and Sparta Notes (comparing and contrasting Athens and Sparta and answering the Reflection questions).

We turned in our Olympics HW (from the last blog post) and then our Olympics Notes using the Olympics PPT.  We finished class with our own version of the Olympics--standing long jump, arm wrestling etc.

Homework:
-Read and take notes on Chapter 6 Section 1 starting at "Beginnings of Rome"and stopping before "Rome Spreads Power"
