Journal Entry: Who did you choose for your Facebook Project?  Why is he or she an important historical figure?
Current Event: Click here for the video of the Acropolis and Parthenon.  Write down an explanation of the parthenon and why it's important.

We turned in our Facebook Projects.

We discussed the Fall of Greece and Rome and their art and architecture.  Click here for todays notes title How did Rome and Greece impact the world?  You will also need the Fall of Greece and Rome PPT and Parthenon Packet to fill in your notes (You will also need a reading on The Roman Colosseum.  For this, see page 166 in the in the Red/Yellow Textbook and page 182 in the Blue Textbook).

Announcements:
-Greece/Rome Test on March 1st (next class!).  
       Note: all students will take the test in class on this day.  If you were absent any day of this  
       unit (even absent the class before the test) you will be expected to get the work off the blog              and prepare for the test.  Please see me or text me before the test if you have any questions. 
-The last day to turn in Unit 1 work--late class notes or homework notes, World Religions Projects, test corrections--is on March 1st
