March 15th--Beware the ides of March!! (think Julius Caesar :))

Journal Entry: Describe 2 ways the world would be different if the conquistadors had not conquered the Americas.

We discussed how to write a 5 paragraph essay now that you have all written your essay outlines.  Click here for the Explanation of how to write your Essay and Columbian Exchange Notes.  Fourth period was the only period we got to discuss the Columbian Exchange and we read The History of Chocolate.  We will start class with this reading on Tuesday for 6th and 8th periods.

We started writing our essays in class.  Your job is to go home now, have your rough draft peer edited and type a final draft to be turned in on Tuesday.

We handed out the Americas Class Notes Sheet and Study Guide.
